Working with performance artist, Annika Rhea, Javi directed and produced a body of work of Annika’s action painting process that was exhibited at The Box Factory in New York City in June 2021. Later that month he filmed a theater play, The Maids by french novelist Jean Genet, created by Talya Dalyan and produced by Bella Balsamo.

Javi has collaborated with award-winning actors, producers, and directors in a wide-range of cinematographic projects for national and international distribution.

He is currently co-authoring, producing and directing his first short film, GROUP, with Anja Avsharian to enter the film festival circuit.
